“What If I’m Not Crafty?” (Spoiler: You’re Gonna Love It Anyway)
Hey y’all—Jecca here!
Let’s talk about the thing I hear all the time at parties:
“I’m not crafty.”
“I don’t want to mess it up.”
“Mine’s not going to look as good as theirs.”
First of all—yes you are.
Second of all—that’s not the point.
Here’s the truth: Wrap and Rise craft parties aren’t about being perfect. They’re about trying something new, laughing when it goes sideways, and walking away with something you actually made with your own hands (and probably didn’t expect to love so much).
💡 Everything’s Designed to Be Doable
I’ve built this whole experience with first-timers in mind. You don’t need a Cricut. You don’t need to know what “weeding vinyl” means. You just need to show up.
Each guest gets:
A kit with everything they need—tools, vinyls, instruction cards
A walk-through of the steps (from me!)
A towel to lay their cup on so it doesn’t roll off the table 😅
Encouragement when they say “uhh… I don’t think I’m doing this right”
Spoiler: you are doing it right. And even if your first wrap bubbles a bit? That’s part of the story.
🎉 It’s Not About Perfection—It’s About Play
Somewhere along the way, we convinced ourselves we have to be good at something to enjoy it. Nope. Not here.
Crafting at a Wrap and Rise party is:
A chance to slow down
A space to laugh with friends or meet new people
A way to make something that feels yours
And honestly? I’ve seen guests walk in doubtful and leave with a tumbler in one hand and an “I’m booking you for my birthday” smile on their face.
🛍️ Everyone Leaves with a Win
Whether you make a tumbler, bookmark, or keychain—what matters is you made it. And I’ll make sure it’s packed in a cute branded bag so you can show it off later.
So if you’re thinking,
“I love the idea, but I’m not crafty…”
Let me stop you right there.
You are creative. You just might not know it yet.
